This home took out top honours for HIA Spec Home (Hunter) in 2021, built by Construct Central Coast.This home is set onto the hillside of this sloping site and was designed for a builder / developer whom appreciates and understands quality design and finish with years of experience building luxury homes around Sydney and the Central Coast. It proved a great opportunity to work collaboratively to achieve a site responsive home that reflects the bush-coastal environment, and has a well rationalised and practical build ethos. The brief was to create a beautiful family home that fits right into the natural landscape of Hardys Bay / Pretty Beach, capturing the external environment around it and create a home that would appeal to an astute, design conscious buyer. Keeping materials natural with Blackbutt shiplap timber cladding, matte finish colorbond vertical standing seam steel cladding, mixed selection clay brick walling and sandstone retaining ensures this project will stand the test of time both physically and visually.
